X-Guide

Such technology is particularly useful when it comes to the placement of Dental Implants. We may use a 3D navigational system known as “X-guide” to improve the precision of your implant’s position, angle, and depth. X-guide is compatible with CBCT scanning technology and has become a standard part of implant treatment.

CT Scanner

An x-ray is one of the most common diagnostic tools we use today. However, an x-ray may not provide us with enough information to accurately diagnose and treat potential problems. In this case, we may order a CBCT scan to gather a more comprehensive understanding of your oral health. A CT scanner gives us a 3D view of your soft tissues, teeth, and underlying bone.

3D Scanner, Digital Radiography and Digital Impressions

3D scanning technology has transformed the restoration of damaged or absent teeth. We utilize iTero intraoral scanning to create a digital impression of your teeth and gums for your treatment planning. Digital impressions now offer unparalleled accuracy and precision compared to previous methods.

Digital radiography represents the future of medical imaging. Unlike traditional X-ray film, which captures one frame at a time, digital radiography captures X-rays in real time and records the images digitally on a capture device. These images can be instantly displayed for you and your dentist to review. This technology rivals MRI and CAT scans in providing clear and convenient images of your body, greatly aiding our experts in diagnosis and treatment.

CEREC

Similar to how X-guide has revolutionized implant treatment, CEREC has completely changed the process of fabricating restorations. CEREC, which stands for Chair-side Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic, enables us to design and create restorations in just one visit.

Traditional restorations like dental crowns usually involve at least two appointments: one for tooth preparation and another for crown placement. However, CEREC streamlines this process by allowing us to prepare the tooth and place the crown in a single appointment. This is made possible through CAD/CAM software and a chairside milling unit.

DNA Bacteria Detection and Oral Pathology

Periodontal disease arises from a bacterial infection that can affect the soft tissues, connective ligaments, and underlying bone. However, the type of periodontal infection can vary among individuals due to the diverse range of bacteria that can contribute to dental and gum issues.

We may order a bacterial DNA test to help diagnose the cause of your infection. Determining which bacteria are present allows us to streamline your treatment and provide more effective results. This approach is a part of oral pathology, which is concerned with the diagnosis and study of diseases that affect your oral and maxillofacial health.

Platelet-Rich Plasma and Platelet-Rich Fibrin

If you need a bone or soft tissue graft, we may recommend the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or platelet-rich fibrin (PRF). Both of these substances are made using the platelets in your blood that are largely responsible for wound healing. By applying PRP or PRF to a surgical site, we can foster better tissue regeneration and expedite the healing process.
